How to donate online, how payments are protected, and how to get an erroneous payment back

Payment methods

Donations are accepted in Uzbek sum (UZS). The minimum is 1,000 UZS; the maximum is limited only by your bank’s limits.

Visa or Mastercard bank card

Card payments are made on the secure payment page of UZUM BANK JSC. Card details are entered only there — the foundation’s website never receives or stores them.

Payment services

You can pay in the app or on the page of one of these services, with Uzcard, Humo or any other method the service supports. Each service’s commission is shown in advance:

Bank transfer

Individuals and organisations can transfer a donation to the foundation’s bank account.

How payment works

1Open the “Donate” page or the page of the child you want to help.
2Choose a payment method and enter the amount.
3Click “Donate”: the secure payment page of the bank or payment service opens.
4Enter the card number, its expiry date and, for Visa and Mastercard, the CVV2/CVC2 code from the back of the card.
5Confirm the payment with the one-time 3-D Secure code that your card’s issuing bank sends by SMS or to its app.
6The bank or service shows the payment result and issues an electronic receipt. Your donation appears on the “Donations received” page.

3-D Secure

Payments protected by 3-D Secure

Every Visa and Mastercard payment requires cardholder authentication with 3-D Secure: Visa Secure and Mastercard Identity Check. The payment is confirmed with a one-time code that only the cardholder receives, so nobody can pay with someone else’s card without the holder knowing.

If the code does not arrive or your card is not enrolled in 3-D Secure, contact the bank that issued the card.

Payment security and fraud control

The foundation accepts card payments through UZUM BANK JSC under an internet acquiring agreement and uses the bank’s fraud-prevention tools:

Mandatory 3-D Secure: a Visa or Mastercard payment cannot go through without the cardholder’s confirmation.
Transaction monitoring: the bank’s anti-fraud system checks every payment; suspicious transactions are declined or held until they are cleared.
Limits: payments are subject to the limits on amount and number of transactions set by the internet acquiring agreement, and to the limits of the bank that issued the card.
Card details never reach this website: they are entered on the bank’s payment page, which complies with the PCI DSS security standard, and the connection to the website is protected by HTTPS.
Review of doubtful payments: if there are grounds to believe a payment was made without the cardholder’s consent, the foundation may refuse it, return the funds and report the transaction to the bank.

Refunds

A donation is a voluntary gift, so once credited it is not refunded. The exception is an erroneous payment:

a mistake in the payment amount;
a duplicate charge;
a payment made without the cardholder’s consent;
a technical failure that made the amount charged differ from the amount confirmed.

How to request a refund

1Write to info@ezgu-amal.uz within 30 calendar days of the payment.
2Give your full name, contact phone number, the date and amount of the payment, the payment method, the last 4 digits of the card or the transaction number, and the reason for the refund.
