Assistance to Clinics in the Field of Pediatric Oncology

The Foundation also facilitates the professional development and continuing education of pediatric oncologists, including through the organization and support of educational and training programs, internships, professional exchange and knowledge-sharing programs involving local and international specialists.

Charitable assistance is provided only if the Foundation has sufficient financial resources available. Otherwise, an individual targeted fundraising campaign may be opened for each approved application on www.ezgu-amal.uz and in the relevant sections of payment platforms (Click, Payme, Uzumbank, Alif, etc.), indicating the required amount. In such cases, assistance under the application may be provided only after the required amount has been raised in full, i.e., after the fundraising campaign has been closed.

Charitable assistance is provided exclusively to state healthcare institutions operating in the field of pediatric oncology and oncology departments of multidisciplinary children’s hospitals.

List of Required Documents

The following documents must be submitted in order to receive charitable assistance:

• - a duly executed official letter of request from the institution, signed by an authorized representative;

• - a detailed description of the need for medical equipment, including detailed technical specifications. References to specific manufacturers are not permitted. Where medicines are required, the information must specify the name of the active pharmaceutical ingredient, the required dosages and quantities. Trade names of medicines are not permitted;

• - a technical and economic justification. At a minimum, it must include information on the estimated number of patients expected to use the equipment, the service capacity of the equipment, the availability of qualified personnel to operate and maintain the equipment, the availability of funding sources for the purchase of reagents and consumables, the availability of suitable premises and the necessary engineering and utility infrastructure for installation of the equipment, as well as information on whether personnel have received or are scheduled to receive appropriate training in the use of the equipment;

• - documents confirming the absence of funding from the state or other sources (for example, an approved annual budget, cost estimates, a letter from the Ministry of Health declining funding, etc.).

Application Review Procedure

Applications submitted by institutions are reviewed in the order in which they are received by the Foundation.

Decisions on the provision of charitable assistance under such applications are made exclusively by the Foundation’s Board of Trustees in accordance with the established procedure.
