The traditional start of the school year took on a special, profound meaning this time. On the eve of the new academic year, the "Children Instead of Flowers" charity campaign was launched, proving that conscious kindness and empathy begin in the classroom.
The essence of the initiative is simple: instead of dozens of bouquets from each student, the class presents their homeroom teacher with one beautiful festive bouquet. The remaining funds that families had planned to spend on flowers are transferred to the foundation for the medical treatment and support of children.
This year, the initiative was supported by leading educational institutions — Sehriyo, Vosiq International School, and Oxbridge International School, as well as our reliable floral partners: Bloom Gallery, Tsvetochnaya Lavka, and Bloomora.
The schools' participation went far beyond traditional fundraising and became an important educational milestone. Special charity boxes from the foundation were installed on the school grounds so that anyone willing could make a contribution.
Furthermore, interactive lectures dedicated to the foundation's activities and the importance of social responsibility were held in the schools. Students learned about how charity works, why it is important not to stand aside, and how collective support builds a strong, caring society. For many children, this became their first conscious step into the world of volunteering and helping others.
We sincerely thank the school administrators, teachers, parents, students, and our florist partners. Thank you for making your Knowledge Day a true lesson in compassion.
Together, we are doing great and important work!
