The second season of a rehabilitation camp for children who have completed treatment for oncological diseases recently concluded. Twenty-five families affected by childhood cancer participated in the program.
The inaugural camp was held last year with the support of project partners: the Korzinka supermarket chain and the NIVEA brand. This year, the initiative continued. Thanks to a joint charity campaign by these same partners and the Ezgu Amal public foundation, the second season of the program was a great success.
The charity campaign took place in April across the Korzinka supermarket chain in collaboration with NIVEA, raising a total of 289,926,000 UZS.
These funds were used to organize a comprehensive rehabilitation and recovery program at local sanatoriums. For children who have endured grueling treatments, as well as their parents, the camp served as a vital stepping stone back to a normal life—one filled with care, support, and hope for the future.
Throughout the program, families had the opportunity to rest and recharge, undergo wellness treatments, spend time in a calm and safe environment, and receive essential professional support. Special attention was given not only to the children's physical recovery but also to the emotional well-being of the entire family.
This year, several new partners joined the project, helping to make the experience even warmer, more eventful, and truly memorable for the children:
- We thank the TWIG Uzbekistan community for providing branded t-shirts, tote bags, and hosting a karaoke night.
- Thank you to InoRent for the air hockey and foosball tables, which brought the participants so much joy and lively interaction.
- We thank Car-pro group for the gifts, treats, engaging activities, and for donating a portable speaker.
- Thank you to the Nur volunteer team for their gifts, attention, and sincere care for the children.
- A special thank you goes to Konsta for putting on a concert that the children will remember for a long time to come.
This rehabilitation camp was more than just a recovery program; it was a space for hope, care, and renewed strength. For these children who have beaten cancer, it represents another meaningful step toward a full, active, and happy life.
