Representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Hamkor Bank, and the EZGU AMAL charitable foundation visited the Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Pediatric Oncology, Hematology, and Clinical Immunology to view the new endoscopic equipment acquired as part of a joint project to develop endoscopic diagnostics and minimally invasive interventions.
The project is the result of a collaboration between the EZGU AMAL charitable foundation, the EBRD, and Hamkor Bank. As part of an initiative in memory of EBRD employee Kamola Makhmudova, funds were raised, which the EBRD matched by providing additional financing. Hamkor Bank also joined the initiative by providing financial support. Thanks to these combined efforts, the EZGU AMAL foundation purchased and donated modern endoscopic equipment to the center.
This modern endoscopic equipment, adapted specifically for the examination and treatment of children, allows doctors to conduct more accurate diagnostics and perform minimally invasive interventions tailored to the specific characteristics of a child's body. The use of such technology helps reduce the physical trauma of these procedures and improves the overall quality of medical care for children with oncological and hematological diseases.
The project serves as a prime example of how partnerships between the state, businesses, and the charitable sector can accelerate the introduction of modern technologies into vital areas like pediatric healthcare. Joining forces makes it possible to equip medical institutions faster, expand diagnostic and treatment capabilities, and make high-tech medical care more accessible to children.
